Presenting Kids’ Athletics

The Kids’ Athletics programme is meant to empower the class teacher to use this programme as an educational tool. In fact, at various stages such a programme helps also in the academic subjects by exposing the children to subjects such as The Olympics  in such a way that maths and science can be integrated besides the physical factor. It is the ideal window of opportunity for the child’s enhanced neural development where the skills of running, jumping and throwing will open up new doors for the children themselves.

This programme consists of 11 events which are selected by the IAAF for this age group, namely rope skipping, cross hopping, speed ladder, endurance race, forward squat jump, kids’ javelin throw, knee throwing, precision throw, formula one race, sprint/hurdles shuttle relay, limited triple jump. A Kids’ Athletics Festival follows this programme.
